Today was a beautiful 75 degrees and sunny in New Jersey. It’s the kind of weather that makes you want to open all the windows in the house and let the sweet smell of summer in. It’s strange isn’t it, how each season has such a distinct scent and by stepping outside and taking in a deep breath you can just tell whether it’s summer, fall, winter, or spring. Well today was undeniably summer, with the smell of freshly cut grass and a hint of sunscreen filling the air. I decided to spend most of the day outside, reading with the sun warming my shoulders (which may possibly be the greatest feeling in the world) and exploring the backyard. In the end, me and my eager little assistant (who is the first-grade spelling bee champ, I have you know) snapped some pretty pictures of flowers and such that we would like to share with you.
