Hello, I thought that it might be of interest to some people to share the goings on in our Gardens.  I suppose, the gardens are fairly typical of the traditional English suburban garden. 

The partly walled front garden has a lavender hedge which is doing well, a small rose beds in front of the bay window and next to the driveway, a lawn, as well of the roses there is Golden Rod, Michaelmas Daisies, Geraniums and well a few shrubs and hanging baskets.  In the spring there is an abundance of Bluebells and Tulips, along with a few primulas, hyacinths and snowdrops.  The garden at the back  has a sizeable area of lawn dissected by a small bed and rose trellis.  There is a larger flower bed, an apple tree, a blossom tree and Hebe bushes.  Along the more shady sides of the garden there are some raised alpine beds/rockeries.  At the back of the garden is a small vegetable patch, healthy rhubarb, along with some raspberry plants and of course…
